James Whitlock

James graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2015. He enjoyed two years of first opinion practice in Kent and developed a keen interest in abdominal ultrasound. Following this, he returned to the RVC to complete a rotating internship where he got more exposure to the advanced imaging modalities of CT & MRI. Before joining Willows James spent a year at a busy referral centre near Newmarket as a Specialist Diagnostic Imaging Intern.

James is currently working towards a European Diploma in Small Animal Diagnostic Imaging. James likes all things related to diagnostic imaging and has been involved in multiple research studies on varied topics. His interests include the MRI appearance of cerebrovascular disease and the use of computer-aided detection in diagnostic imaging.

When not at work James enjoys watching rugby and trying and failing to train his two dogs Bert & Bumble.
