Exciting news… we have launched a dentistry service here at Willows which makes us the only veterinary referral dentistry, oral and maxillofacial surgery facility in the Midlands.
Dentistry clinician James Haseler, who heads up our new department, said: “Willows has an enviable global reputation for delivering excellence in pet health care and the opening of this new dentistry service will further enhance its standing.
“At Willows, we have access to the very latest equipment and pioneering dental and oral care treatment for cats and dogs.
“With access to our team of world-leading emergency and critical care specialists and a dedicated intensive care unit, this is a very exciting new chapter in Willows’ illustrious history and will be a massive benefit to our patients and clients.”
We can now provide a range of diagnosis, treatments and care for a variety of conditions including fractured and discoloured teeth, complex extractions, tooth luxation or avulsion, malocclusions, periodontal disease and enamel defects.
As well as a dentistry service, Willows will now be able to provide an oral and maxillofacial service for treatment of head trauma cases as well as oral oncological cases.
James, who is interested in all areas of veterinary dentistry especially endodontics and maxillofacial surgery and joins from fellow Linnaeus-owned practice Eastcott Referrals in Swindon, added: “Our state-of-the-art dental suite ensures the best possible dental and oral care for both feline and canine patients alike and we look forward to treating new patients.”
