Ludivine Boiron

Ludivine graduated from the University of Lyon (France) in 2008, after which she did a rotating internship at the same university. During this time she developed a great interest in Emergency and Critical Care medicine (ECC) and the day to day challenge this specialty represents, Ludivine then joined the team in the Emergency and Intensive Care Unit for 3 years from 2009-2012 as a clinical instructor. Following this, she worked as an Emergency doctor in several general practices in France and Switzerland. Ludivine wanted to see how ECC medicine is practiced overseas.

She undertook an ECC internship at the University of California UC Davis in 2014 followed by a three year Residency at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, which she completed in July 2018. Ludivine joined Willows in October 2018 and is very motivated by her new position.Ludivine is dynamic and very passionate about her specialty and is dedicated and empathetic to her patient’s needs, the cases which are seen by the ECC service can be very complex and critical cases. Ludivine has a special interest in respiratory diseases, trauma and acid base disturbances.

She enjoys working with the wider Willows multi-disciplinary team as well as teaching and keeping up to date with recent studies.Ludivine grew up in Lyon but her family currently live in the south of France near Montpellier. She has 2 dogs, Dalhi her Golden Retriever and Baya her German Shepherd which she loves unconditionally. She likes practicing sport in general but has a special interest in horse riding.
