Jon Hardy

Jon graduated from Cambridge University’s Veterinary School in 2007. He spent a number of years working in both small animal practice in Surrey and in charity hospitals in the West Midlands where he developed a very keen interest in Dermatology. In 2009, Jon was selected as a Junior Clinical Training Scholar (Intern) in Small Animal Studies at the Royal Veterinary College, London and this was followed by a three year residency in Veterinary Dermatology at the same institution. Jon gained the European Diploma in Veterinary Dermatology in July 2014.

Jon is interested in all aspects of Dermatology, and enjoys the challenges that are associated with managing patients with skin disease. He is particularly interested in ear problems, as well as parasitic and allergic skin diseases. Jon is delighted to be part of the Specialist team at Willows, providing a multi-disciplinary approach and the highest standards of support and care for our patients, owners and referring veterinary surgeons.

When not at work, Jon is often out on dog walks in the Worcestershire countryside with his wife Emily and Cocker Spaniel Gulliver.
