Ophthalmologist Specialist
A unique opportunity has become available for an experienced Ophthalmologist to provide maternity cover for our Ophthalmology referral team. The successful applicant will ideally hold, or be eligible to sit, a European, American or RCVS Diploma (or equivalent), have had significant exposure to ophthalmic surgery, and share our aim of providing the best possible levels of care for pets, clients and referring Veterinary surgeons. The position will be available from March 2020 for 6-12 months as full time cover, however part time or intermittent locum cover would also be considered.

The Ophthalmology team members work closely together and alongside our other Specialist-led teams in the disciplines of Anaesthesia, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Orthopaedics, Soft Tissue Surgery, Oncology, Dermatology, Cardiology, ECC and Diagnostic Imaging. This truly multi-disciplinary Specialist service allows our Ophthalmologists to offer the best levels of patient and client care, whatever the problem may be.
The position will be well remunerated with a fantastic package including six weeks holiday, plus two weeks allowance for funded CPD, a week for approved committee or examining commitments.
