Be part of one of the UK’s leading small animal veterinary referral centres!

An exciting opportunity has become available for a highly motivated individual to join our Internal Medicine team at our Specialist multi-disciplinary referral centre. The position will ideally commence in January 2023. The successful applicant will either hold or be eligible for an American or European Diploma (or equivalent) and share our aim of providing excellent levels of care for our patients, clients and referring Veterinary Surgeons.

Willows’ Internal Medicine team, currently comprising of six Internal Medicine Specialists, two ECVIM-Residents and a dedicated Nursing team, provides an outstanding level of care for patients with internal medicine disorders. Supported by our Specialist multidisciplinary team, our Internal Medicine team provides excellent diagnostic investigation and treatment for referred patients with a huge variety of medical conditions. As well as outstanding diagnostic imaging and endo-diagnostic facilities and expertise, the Internal Medicine service maintains a radioactive iodine treatment programme for feline hyperthyroidism (including for thyroid carcinoma). Clinical research is supported and strongly encouraged. Specialists have the advantage of one working day per week being provided for administration and clinical research.

Our Internal Medicine team work together with our team of Specialists across 13 disciplines including Emergency and Critical Care, Soft Tissue Surgery, Neurology, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Imaging, Anaesthesia, Dermatology, Cardiology, Orthopaedics and Clinical Nutrition to provide the best possible care for each and every patient.
